The research agenda of the National Centre for Energy is divided into three application segments, with each research topic having its own expert guarantor. The expert guarantors are responsible to the Centre Council, and, together with expert guarantors of other application segments and the Centre Council, propose the content of the application segment. The research agenda consists of the following application segments:
